Amazon brings the ease and convenience when shopping for your pup

Looking to stock up on goodies for your pup? Not exactly sure what all you may need? Amazon has us covered with their Pet Supplies offerings.

What makes it so easy to shop on Amazon for our dogs is the fact that they understand that we don’t always know exactly what we are looking for. And that’s why it is nice that on their Pets Supplies landing page, once you choose Dog Supplies, you get a page that is broken down into a number of different categories.

At the very top of the page, they offer us a New Dog Checklist, which is definitely great for any new pet parents looking to stock up on essentials. From there, the page breaks down into categories for dog supplies. Everything from dog food and dog treats to toys and grooming supplies are represented in these categories.

Other ways to shop with Amazon include using their shop and save option and even a dog breeds category that lets you choose what type of pup you own in order to tailor your purchase to the things your pup actually needs and wants. You can even shop by brands if you happen to have a favorite, including their own AmazonBasics line, Instinct, Purina Pro Plan, and Rachel Ray’s Nutrish, to name a few.

With over 70,000 results showing up just under the Dog Supplies landing page, you have to think that if there is something that your up needs, Amazon will have it. And that makes it even easier to get your pup shopping done from the comfort of home. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if you were curled up on the couch with your pup doing your shopping – it’s that easy.

Having ordered everything from dog food to dog beds on Amazon, I can attest to the fact that they not only deliver solid deals in many cases, but also make it easy to find what you need for your fur baby.

Dog found alive in rubble six days after deadly Norway landslide

A dog has been found alive in the rubble of a deadly landslide in Norway, boosting hopes among rescuers who are still searching for missing people. The landslide, which carried away homes in the Norwegian village of Ask, took place on 30 December. Seven people have died, and three others remain missing. The dog was found by rescuers late Monday and was "in good condition", police spokesperson Ivar Myrboe said. Rescuer Goeran Syversen said: "It is a joy for us and gives motivation to further work hard." Search efforts continue in the village, 16 miles northeast of Oslo, with dogs going beneath the rubble in below-freezing temperatures to try to find those still missing. Helicopters and drones with heat-detecting technology are also being used. It is thought to be the worst landslide in modern Norwegian history - destroying around nine buildings containing more than 30 apartments. At least 1,000 people were evacuated from their homes.   Affenhuahua The Affenhuahua is a mixed breed dog–a cross between the  Chihuahua  and  Affenpinscher  dog breeds. Petite, sassy, and highly energetic, these pups inherited some of the best traits from both of their parents. Affenhuahuas are also sometimes called Affen Chi. Despite their status as a designer breed, you can find these mixed breed dogs in shelters and rescues, so adopt! Don’t shop! These compact, cute pups make great apartment dogs for active city dwellers, though they can also thrive in small or single-person households. They can also be a bit territorial and yappy. If you want an energetic, sassy dog who will keep you on your toes, alert you to any dangers, and love you unconditionally, the Affenhuahua may be the right dog for you! DogTime recommends  this carrier for traveling  with your small Affenhuahua.  You should also  pick up this dog water bottle  for any outdoor adventures you have with your pup! See below for a...

So what are you waiting for! know what vaccine is next and schedule your appoinments

Like people,  pets  need vaccines. And pet vaccinations, like those for humans, may sometimes require a booster to keep them effective. The best way to stay on schedule with vaccinations for your  dog  or  cat  is to follow the recommendations of a veterinarian you trust. Chances are your vet's suggestions will break down into two categories: core pet vaccines and non-core vaccines. Core pet vaccinations are those recommended for every pet, while non-core vaccines may be advised based on your pet's lifestyle. For example, your vet may suggest certain non-core vaccinations if your  cat  or dog is outdoors only or boarded often. Many vaccines can be given to  pets  as young as 6 weeks old, so talk to your vet about setting up the best vaccination schedule for your  cat  or dog, kitten or puppy.
