DOG GIVES BIRTH TO ‘LIME GREEN’ PUPPY- Puppy has been aptly named ‘Hulk’

DOG GIVES BIRTH TO ‘LIME GREEN’ PUPPY A  dog  has given birth to a  puppy  whose fur is a bright, garish shade of green. The unusual phenomenon occurred in North Carolina, US on Friday, when a white German Shepherd named Gypsy gave birth to a litter of eight puppies. The dog was in labour for three hours, her owner, Shana Stamey, told local news station  WLOS . Everything about the birth occurred as one could have expected, apart from when the fourth puppy made his arrival. The puppy was peculiarly born with lime green fur, an occurrence that may have happened due to the “meconium” in the mother’s womb, which is the earliest stool produced by an infant mammal. "The puppy's green hue is likely to have been caused by meconium, a puppy's first faeces which may be passed ahead of birth, or placental pigments," Daniella Dos Santos, president of the  British Veterinary Association . Ms Stamey said that while she knew the colour of the puppy’s fur “wasn’t harmful” she “had

Chris Graythen/Getty Images Sylvia Lopez, who was laid off from her job this year because of the pandemic, saw an adorable pug puppy named Ted online. Thousands of dollars later, after additional fees and a crate payment, the emails from the “breeder” and the recommended “courier company” abruptly stopped. Voice mail and text messages were not returned. Ted never arrived, and Ms. Lopez’s requests for a refund were met with silence. “I was a tru

Boy, 2, found infested with lice and 'barking like a dog' A two-year-old South Australian boy was found to have lice-infested hair, decayed teeth and sores covering his face and body in a "tragic" case of neglect, a court has heard. The infant also appeared unable to stand up and unable to speak, when located by police and taken to hospital in 2018. "They said he responded by barking like a dog," District Court Judge Paul Muscat said on Monday. The child's condition came to light after his mother travelled to Adelaide at one stage to live with the boy's grandmother. But Judge Muscat said the Department of Child Protection appeared to have been aware of concerns surrounding the ability of the boy's mother to care for him. He said various notifications indicated a history of a lack of supervision, the woman's drug and alcohol abuse, and concerns over the child's development. The child had lice-infested hair, decayed teeth, sores covering
